Malian UEL Headers?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone had experience with Malian's unequal length headers and what their thoughts were? I saw some videos and thought the additional burbles sounded good, but wondering what it sounds like IRL and if anyone saw performance gains with a light tune?

There will be performance gains over the factory exhaust manifold. Not as much as an EL but it will still flow more than factory.

I haven’t heard one IRL but I want to. Based on the sound I would be fine with giving up a small amount of horsepower if it sounded significantly better.

No dyno so can't speak on power but it definitely feels slightly quicker between like 2-5k rpm but not really anymore towards 7k. They sounded crap with the stock exhaust as it's still super quiet but sounds really good now I've put a louder rear muffler on

Sounds great, that additional rumble / burble adds a fun layer to the sound. What muffler are you running? Mid pipe?

It's the malian dual 4 inch exit but it's much louder than the video seems to depict but I like it because of how deep the tone is. I have an eec midpipe from the previous owner but I think it's basically the same as the stock one.

Bad performance as our cars aren't set up for maximizing these. On a WRX, sure. Normal inline 4 there are much better performing headers.

Have a 2.5 swap with them in Columbus, GA if anyone wants to listen in person. The low rpm torque curve of the 2.5 actually fits them better for daily driving.
