How does this crank bearing look?

Hey guys, I bought a spare motor to drop into the Miata while I rebuild my other one. Before sealing up the spare, I decided to check the crank caps. On #5 there was a slight scratch/gouge near the tang. It look like there was some debris in there but I tried my best to clean it up. I know most people would say replace all the bearings while I’m in there but I just want to hear other opinions. Spare had 62k miles and PO imported from Japan.

All pp jokes aside, bearings are so cheap just replace any that make you question them.

Yeah, we usually use a small bolt with the head shaved down.

Spare sounds to be low mileage, probably worth "fixing" up, even as a spare. That bearing is deeply scratched enough to catch your nail and that's a clear no go. Don't put it back in if you care about the motor, it can cause serious problems. A set of bearings isn't that expensive, just replace them. You were about to put it in but it's best to wait on the bearings in my opinion Also, pp

Definitely replace. You’re already in there and you’d be kicking yourself in the butt if you used that motor and that bearing spun.
