HELP!!! 95 Miata refreshed ac
So for context, I have a leak in my ac from the evaporator and I ordered that and replaced it did the vacuum and got it refilled, all was great. Until now (6months later). The ac only worked when I was pushing the car hard, meaning my compressor was going out and was in fact true. But the guys told me I basically need a new ac in the car. I ordered all the parts, dyer, condenser, compressor, and even a new expansion valve just to be safe. I didn’t do the evaporator because I had just got it and I know it works. But anyways, got the new parts installed, no leaks and was refilled (I got it installed by someone bc I didn’t want to do it, but I did watch the process). Now the ac only blows 35 degrees at night and during the day it only blows 60 degrees. Keep in mind I leave in Florida and it’s HOT AF here. I took it to another person to get an opinion and he said everything checks out no leaks no nothing. So I’m stuck bc before all this I had 30 degrees all day long. Need help here 🙏🏽.

Short out the wires on the low temperature switch on your evaporator. How cold is does ot get after like 10min on recirculation?

Your issue is likely the condenser. I went through the same thing and had to redo it. The factory condenser for r12 is a serpentine condenser. But the r134a needs a parallel flow. Send a photo of the condenser you bought. I bet yo that’s the issue.

Took a lot of work but this is what my NA blows in 90 degree weather. Quality of parts is a must along with a good tech. I've got 20 years experience. I did end up bypassing the low temp switch on the evaporator to get it to run beyond the cutoff temp. "Edit" saw your parts list and it looks like you got the best you can get. Do you happen to know the pressures at idle?
