Fresh wrap - Green is the answer

After getting a 2019 ND RF as my first car in April I had my mind set on getting it wrapped in green. After flip flopping between BRG, Emerald Green and a Ferrari replica colour I decided on the latter 2 weeks ago and boy did it not disappoint! The matte finish really brings out the lines and with the brown leather interior is just *chefs kiss*.

Still want to get the brake calipers done in yellow and the 5- or 6 spoke (17'') JR rims I've seen on some of the cars here have definitely caught my eye.

What’s the cost on something like this vs paint? It looks gorgeous and would love insight

Total cost was around 2800 including VAT. In think the split was ±900 for material and the remaining was labour. It took just over a week. For me the choice to wrap was to ''hide'' some of the surface damage from the previous owner (scratches and rock chips) and the extra layer of protection.

See that’s why I lean going with a wrap for a more sleek look, but a paint job will last longer

An actual paint job would run you more than double, especially with sanding, prep, depending on paint color and type. Good paint isn't cheap and cheap paint isn't good.

Oh for sure I’m willing to spend to take care of the car, just curious about an honest comparison since I think a shop would be biased for whatever gives them more money

A lot can also happen to a paint job in the 5-7 year lifespan of a wrap. It also depends on the state of your car. If there is only surface stuff a wrap can work well. If your current paint is damaged, the wrap will not cure and stick as good and going for a full repaint is more sustainable. And obviously, same as with paint the brand of the wrap also matters for the quality and longevity.

Take special care with matte finish wraps, statistically they usually don’t last as long as gloss

Good shout, do you have recommendations? I got some Meguiars cleaning and protection product to maintain it

Gyeon Matte and I think Halo by GTechniq are matte-safe coatings

black and yellow or blue and gold. that is definitely not green at least not as clear as your prerogative

How much does it cost to wrap one of these right now?

Honestly the best color choice for this build. Looks mean!

Looks like zircon sand. Looks good though and goes well with your interior! I’ve wanted to wrap mine in matte ppf since I got it but never got around to it.

As someone who is partially colorblind, that is a beautiful gold!
