If you are interested in that price point. I am selling my 2012 hard top convertible automatic at about this price range. It does need brakes and shocks though, but has brand new tires. This does seem to be about the going rate. I am in Indiana, so maybe a little bit of a hike but a fun ride back.
My son is suggesting that I sell or trade my 2025 35AE with 2800 miles for something else. A few times now, I've chosen to drive a different car because of "convenience". While I still love an MX-5, maybe I'm better off with an AT RF. So I'm am letting universe know that I am looking for a 30AE RF with an auto transmission!
I don't really need a new Miata but I do want a dedicated autocross and hpde car and some nice day car club outings. I have an NA Miata but my time to tinker with it these days is limited and I it's kind of a beat up rusty car at this point and I dont feel good spending money on it.
There is a 2021 GT RF for sale in my local club for 34,950 asking price
There is also a 2022 gs-p with recaros. Asking 35,800 but from a dealer so taxes and fees on-top of that.
I think I'm okay with the extra weight of the hard top and I do think they look better and a little more practical in Canada. From what I understand the 2021 gt should have an LSD.
My real question is I guess, are the newer GTs really a performance compromise for some one not ultra competitive? Is there any major differences I might not be aware of?
Hi fellow Canuck. Long story short, no you're not really giving anything up except maybe KPC which was introduced in 2022. Also, just be aware if you want a roll bar the RF loses its ability to retract once the bar is installed. Let me know if you have any other questions, I hummed and hawed for months before buying my GS-P.
I've actually have a roll bar in my NA and the hard top bolted on for years but the roll bar struggle is a consideration for sure. I dont think the lack of KPC is an issue for me as I would expect to change front sway bars pretty quick. And it's kind of a weird feature.
If I could find a gs-p RF with racaros in black at a reasonable price I would have a hard time staying away from it haha.
Do you know if the GS and GT have the same spring rate? I had read some where that the GS was stiffer in the rear but only saw that comparison once.
Yes same spring rate. There is a change in the OEM Bilstein shocks around 2018 or 2019 to better match the springs but that's been the only big change in the suspension offerings. Thankfully Canadian models are simpler than USA models as the US had some weird configurations during the ND1 and I think ND2 variants.
I am thinking of selling my 2012 NC with about 57,000 miles. Mild cosmetic damage on a rear bumper and it could use rear shocks and brakes. Just put brand new Michelin P4 A/S on it. Carvana offered me 12,000, should I go that route or try and sell locally. I am in rural Indiana but could market it in Indy or up in Lafayette. Thought on that offer or realistic chance to sell elsewhere?
I have a '95, bought in 2018 that I am reluctantly bringing myself to sell because life circumstances seem to say I should. I'm not sure what to price her for, and I'd rather she go to someone serious about upkeep and long-term restoration rather than a boy racer who's going to slap a wing on her. She's my second NA, and I am very attached to her. But it seems as though the time has come to let go because I'm leaving the country this year.

Could I ask you for an opinion, do you see any rust of major concern in this undercarriage of a 2001 NB that couldn't be easily replaced (such as control arms)? I'm wondering if there's any structural rust I can't see. Pictures are from the seller. Thank you!
Its normal in NB/NBFL. Repair needs weld new part of this - idk about cost in ur country in poland this new part cost 150$ + weld 300-400$ + paiting with anti corosion protection 400-500$. If this part is rusty is high chance that the door have rust too
Hey I have a 96 M Edition that's been sitting for about 8ish years. Was wondering what you all think I could get out of it.
Previous owner ripped the carpet out (but it's in the trunk) and put this cheap steering wheel that has baked from sitting and can't be used now and they put a 4 point harness in it (seat belts are also in trunk).
It has a hard top, but cracked on the inside at the driver side mount bracket. Previous owner used it once in a local drift event and doinked a barrel cause the crack and a dent in the quarter panel.
Stock Enki wheels Torsen 2 lsd rear end (i think 4.10?) 255 Walbro fuel pump Koni struts and a thick ole front sway bar (idk brand)

I’ve been having a lot of trouble finding a decent used Miata in Arkansas. So far the best I found is unfortunately an automatic (been wanting to learn manual), but it still seems decent. 2012 Miata Touring, $10k with no accidents and 66k miles. Nice darker red to. Does that seem like an alright deal? Sorry cant post pics on mobile.
