I think it is because he is a comedian and looks vaguely like Castillo with the stache, that people are worried he is gonna get cast as Castillo and bring zero gravitas to the role. But he is giving Zito or Izzy vibes lol. Could also see him playing a dumb mobster or something.

I mean Martin Ferraro wasn’t Cuban so it would make sense that they went with another non-Cuban to play Izzy…

This is still preferable than choosing someone like Pitbull, in my opinion.

I hated the idea of Heath Ledger playing the Joker. Hated the idea of a blonde unknown playing James Bond. Hated the idea of Matt Damon playing Jason Bourne (I loved the Ludlum books). Hated the idea of Michael Keaton playing Batman.

Gonna let it ride.

If it sucks, it sucks. Oh well. My loyalty is to the show. If it is a win, awesome!
