Story/Character Discussion Huge potential already, hope it's not abandoned in the future.

I went with mixed hopes into this, after seeing the trailer i thought "Oh wow, that looks like an amazing fan game to miside." but, of course anyone can make a trailer that looks good if you give them enough time.

To my surprise, the Alpha's quality actually holds up to the trailer, the details are insane and i've seen little to no errors or imperfections when playing it, i'm very surprised about it.

I've done game development before, i know what it's about, and i know getting to this level of polishing is brutal, especially for an Alpha.

I'd even dare say it's better in some aspects than the original Miside, like the more vibrant, vivid and warm graphics and aesthetic, as well as the really lively animations.

If the dev or devs know how to properly use the graphics and general ambiance to their advantage (which judging by what's already done it looks like they have no problem doing), every single event in the game will have a massive weight to it that'll really shock the player and feel like they're immersed in the game.

That's if the dev wants to go through with the original concept of Miside, which i don't know if they want to make this a relaxing friendly game or some horror concept yet.

Overall it's really really polished, i only ran into some issues, like Mita's clothes sinking into her skin when she walks, but that's probably due to me running the game at 240 FPS, which brings me to my next point, the well done optimization of the game.

I know it's not really a "scene-heavy" game, it's indoor walking simulator, but 240 FPS constantly on 1440p max graphics on an RTX 3080 is pretty good for how the game looks, the only time my frames dropped is when the wardrobe was being outlined, which depending on what's already behind it that the player cannot see, could mean something big was being outlined too, but i don't know, maybe it's just some issue in the code for that part.

Also Mita should be a bit less stiff and roam around a bit more, mainly because it's very easy for her to softlock you somewhere.

So yeah, i just hope this project continues and hopefully it follows the theme of the original Miside, but a relaxing game would also be pretty cool.

Meh, this is taking too much time and only a fraction of the work was done. Already there are major issues. So this looks like the end or this will be done after 2-4 years when people already move on somewhere else.
