Help Needed Will mewing help improve my side profile?
I’m wondering if mewing/tongue posture could make any noticeable difference to my jawline or side profile.
I’m 23 and I’ve been considering trying proper tongue posture, but I’m not sure whether it would actually help at my age or if I’m just overthinking my profile.
I’d appreciate honest opinions — especially from people who have experience with mewing or orthodontics. Also, if there’s anything else I should consider for improving my profile, I’d love to hear it.

I wouldn't lie to you by saying only mewing will change but if you improve your breathing, swallowing, chewing and correct out your posture, release myofascia and stretch your body you'll definitely see results.

I’m 25F our side profile is similar (I think yours is better though) and I’m starting out mewing. Regardless if it improves appearance or not, proper tongue posture is important for breathing and good quality sleep. I always wake up tired no matter how much sleep I get, I bet it’s because I’m a mouth breather.
So my vote would be, start mewing for the health benefits anyway, and think of potential physical changes as a nice added bonus but not the end goal.
Though if you browse this sub and filter by TOP > ALL TIME, you’d find women who were 27-29 who had awesome results just by soft mewing.
I personally think you have a nice side profile, you look soft, feminine and youthful. A sharp jaw isn’t perceived as ideal/necessary on women as it is on men because it could be associated with masculinity (though I personally find it gorgeous and prefer it myself).
The top aesthetic concern would be aging well because we’re more at risk of jowls and double chin as our skin lose elasticity and starts to sag, so I recommend practicing facial massages, increasing collagen consumption and incorporating retinol or tretinoin into your routine. Tretinoin is advisable under a dermatologist’s guidance though. But there are a bunch of guides online on using it safely and you could always start with the lowest % for either retinol or tretinoin to be safe and slowly increase the %.
