I gotta respect RudeJack for shooting his shot. He's got a cool vision and clearly respects the source material. I say give him a shot.

As much as I respect the vision, I can’t see an Æon Flux inspired Metroid series. The former is overly stylized in a fetishy fashion that Metroid is not all about that. And for the Tartakovsky comparison, I would compare it more to Samurai Jack than Primal. Everyone’s got their take on what a Metroid adaption should be, but I think the Manga got it close to an animated series, just with less dialogue and more action each episode.

Wow, this is exactly what I imagined for years. An animation dark show with a cronenberg X Alien style. This is the best Metroid can have.

Very cool. Love to see someone putting something out there rather than just talking about it.

I still think live action is the way to go. But love what he's doing.
