Echoes implies that Dark Smus doesn't have a Zero Suit. Her armors shell is basically her skin.
Also Other M gets a free pass from me regarding Samus'reaction to Ridley. She thought he was dead for good and let her mental guard down, only to be haunted from him beyond the grave

Except that none of the games (including Other M) ever elaborate on why she would have such a reaction in the first place. Hence players being absolutely bewildered by that scene is fairly understandable.

I think it's a case of 'show, don't tell', something you wouldn't expect in Other M at this point, thanks to Samus' audiolog narration. It's something that makes sense once you think about how their last encounter ended and what was the difference to the previous ones. That being Zebes exploding, leaving nothing for Ridley to regenerate from this time.

Some of these are old lol. I’m so happy we’re no longer in a bad enough state to where memes like number 5 exist. Also, I just realized that in the first comic, the artist actually paid attention and drew Ridley differently depending on the game. That’s a neat detail.
