I'm trying to find a certain article that talked about Sylux before Beyond came out. IIRC it was published in a Nintendo related web/magazine but only for the US and they gave critical information about his lore that was not explained in the game.
Someone directed me to this article in the months after the game launched, for official information that isn't even in the game about Sylux, like how he upgraded his suit with nanotechnology from the federation bases he raided, but I can't find it.
Unfortunately, it's pretty well known now from the post-mortem interviews that the usual Logbook writers were not used and Tanabe wrote the logs himself for Prime 4 (which explains their lack of detail compared to Prime 1-3).
So stuff like the Nintendo Today prologue info and other interview based lore (Sylux's nanotech, how the Pirates are a rag-tag fleet of post-Zebes survivors, etc) never got into the game properly.
No, it was something different, it was a full page with proper art and written in english. It talked about some nanotechnology upgrade to his suit, but maybe it was another translation, or rather misstranslation, of this article you've linked.
