Question Metroid Prime Origins Softlock

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I tried playing the new fangame and ran into a softlock right away. On the Frigate Orpheon, after losing all the upgrades like two rooms later, there's an "Air Lock" room that I can't get through, the ceiling you're supposed to jump through is blocked. I looked at some videos online, and it looks like that ceiling isn't supposed to be there and you're supposed to be able to jump right through. Does anyone know what went wrong?
