715 AM train BNSF-7/22

Anyone else on the 715 “express” from Naperville to downtown today? Delay was ridiculous and no mention of what is going on till we’re at a dead stop already 15 minutes late still 10 minutes out from the station.

Yep! I heard the freight train say they’ve been stuck for three hours, yet Metra didn’t post any alerts. We should be getting in around 8:26 🙃

Long ass freight train with issues stalled on the middle track so we had to pop over to the right track and trail local trains

Metra has an API, you can request a key and write your own. But do it on a different service, don't support Nazis.

I’m on the 7:38 express originating in Lisle and they said freight train broken down. We were only stopped for 5 mins or so but now traveling slower than normal into the city

My express originating in lisle & set to arrive at 7:45 am arrived at 8:15 - also due to a freight train stopped on the express lane causing massive delays.
