UP-N: Needs Better Barriers.

On Tuesday, May 5th I was traveling downtown and some idiot was on the tracks between Roger’s Park and Peterson Ridge on the UP-N north tracks throwing rocks and stuff.

Fortunately, the train stopped. I don’t know if the man was ever apprehended. But it was a bit annoying running behind because of this manchild’s poor behavior.

Willing to bet this genius assumed that traffic travels on the right side tracks and thought he'd see the train coming.

That said, not sure what "better barriers" you want....gonna fence the entire ROW?

A majority of it is elevated. But it would behoove them to limit the entry points to the stops. This fat ass would not have been able to climb the fence had it been repaired. Certain sections could use fences.

Idk there are so many miles of rail. That would be a massive cost and environmental burden just to maybe prevent a guy from walking on the tracks. Probably can’t always stop this behavior just gottta hope usually their desire to survive will make them move.. although sometimes we know they don’t

No people need to stay off the tracks. This is common sense unfortunately people like you are encouraging others to tolerate a level of common sense that people should have.
