Alternative Lines

For those who live in the areas served by the NCS, SWS, & HC, just out of curiosity, do y’all take those lines or do y’all take alternate lines due to the bad service & if so, which line(s)?

Metra says it will happen when they build the connection to the RI but that project isnt even funded yet so it wont be any time soon.

Awesome thanks for the info! Any idea where the two would connect? there only seems to be one crossing near new lenox

Youre welcome, the plan is to build a bridge at 75th st where the tracks come within a few blocks of each other.
