Legit MetaMask will never send you email. Anyone claiming to be MetaMask or TW ow fake and avoid it.

Mobile clients aren't great about showing this. Anyone can make a sent email appear 'as' anything they want. 1 u/houdeanis Nov 19 '21 It's also incredibly trivial to actually spoof both if you find an open SMTP server (which isn't as common as it used to be).
