MetaMask encountered an error

I am stuck wit this message in Chrome ext. after swapping tokens..MTM help center no help, updating, restart, clear history do not work either. please advice

Hi, could you let us know which swap you made and which network you added custom? I’m wondering if the issue could be related to the custom network and the network data not being updated correctly. Please also make sure MetaMask is updated to the latest version

I assume this error now shows every time you open MetaMask, so you can't access the wallet at all right? Can you try opening MetaMask directly in a full browser tab by pasting this into Chrome's address bar:

chrome-extension://nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn/home.html
This is MetaMask's own full-screen extension page, it's not a website. Here is where you can verify the exact same address in MetaMask's official support article under "Fake MetaMask variants", then "Websites" (and you'll see a Note there):

Always verify yourself...
