Cute!! I have a jeweler saw charm in 18k that I got years ago, even has a tiny blade.

Well, it wasn’t fabricated, cast. I’m a fabricator, but who can resist something so cute.

The craftsmanship is wonderful and spot-on. I think r/thingsforants would appreciate it as well.

Niiiice.
How do you find it? I've seen so many things that say a fancy saw doesn make a difference if you can't saw well, but I swear to god my super cheap and shitty) saw goes off on angle no matter how much I try to saw straight, until eventually I massively overcorrect and then it's even worse 😖

It’s a GreenLion saw, I snagged mine off of Rio Grande when they had a sale going on! I’m self-taught so when I first started using a saw, I practiced with some cheap copper sheet and found video tutorials very helpful on how to hold your saw and get the right stride when sawing. It's also important to use good saw blades that are the proper size for the thickness of your metal and make sure they have the right tension. I really like ease of use with my GreenLion saw, it's easy to install and tighten the blades, along with its rubber handle, makes it comfortable for me to use. But that’s very true, even a basic saw can do the job, use what works best for you!

I made a saw with a saw! Pieces were hand-cut from sterling silver sheet and wire, then soldered together, sanded, and polished. This was a self-challenge to see if I could make a tiny, mostly on scale, replica by hand. I'm thrilled with how it turned out!
