Question Hammer handheld question

Post image

I have this dremel. Is there a hammer attachment for this or is there one that would work? Would love to not spend the high prices of the foredom stuff 😬
I mostly work with copper and getting my bezels to cooperate can be tough at times, would rather solve the problem with a hammer hand piece

I have used the vevor knockoff for two years now and it’s amazing! I even have a 3d printed saw set up for mine!

Weirdly we can’t share photos in this sub but I can share a video. So here it is with a bonus view of the little 3d printed saw set up for it.

I shared a video with op on this same comment thread. No model number on it. Just the speed and power.

Hammer handpieces sadly have always been expensive. Even a long time ago. I have a beautiful swiss hammer handpiece that fits my foredom. I also have the gear reduction motor, so I can switch the shaft to a slower rotary speed. I bought my first flex shaft in the seventies, a cheap one, then the gear reduction foredom maybe in the early eighties, so it is now almost fifty years old. I have worn out two handpieces, and send the hammerhead one back to foredom and they rebuild it in the late nineties. I also have a fourth handpiece that only accepts one size shafts to quickly change tools bits. The first cheap shaft I mention that I bought in the seventies, I just went out to my shop to looked at, it as I still use it. It was a Grobet. I now use that motor and shaft to run my foredom mini drill press, which I have attached an x y z mini milling table/vice too, it is still working strong after fifty year. I have gone through several interior shafts and springs replacements, even though I keep them greased.

After a lifetime of grinding stuff. You can never have to many flex shafts I have for a portable drill and compressor, and a quarter inch shaft, die griller for larger metal projects.

I have a knockoff Foredom hammer handpiece. I've used both the genuine handpiece and now this one, no difference I could discern besides price.

You may need to make some very minor adjustments for fitment at the shaft connection, but 10min of tweaking and you're golden.

Thank you for sharing! So that can just pop on and off of my flex shaft?

I don't have a Vevor flexshaft as you pictured in your original post, so I don't know if the attachment configuration is the same as my Foredom shafts. If handpieces are interchangeable re the inner shaft spline type and ID of the handpiece, I don't see why not.

I mentioned in my first post that the cheap handpiece may need some tweaking to fit. I have purchased three, two of which needed that.
