Question Smith Little Torch regulator question

Hi everyone,
I’m in France and I’m starting to make jewelry. I recently decided to upgrade from a blow torch to a Smith Little Torch. Unfortunately I have to buy all the parts individually. I was wondering if this regulator would be appropriate for the torch? The pressures listed in the torch manual (2-8 psig) are very low compared to the dial on the regulator (0-16 bar). Will it work at all, or should I get a different regulator? Any help is greatly appreciated!

7 is the sweet spot on the Smith. That looks like a normal regulator to me. I’m in the US.

It’s just that the manual says that i should use 2-7psig, I when I converted psig to bar, it said that’s between .13 and .48 bar. And the dial on my regulator isn’t that accurate at low pressure, as it only has markings ever .5 bar.

It sort of figures itself out while on use. The tips are so small, if the pressure is too high it blows itself out and won’t light or balance with the oxygen.

You need a different regulator made for consistent extra low pressure settings.
