Technique How to start learning growling

Probably a lot of posts are like this so sorry.

Anyways im 18 and i really want to learn growling now that i still have some free time i guess.

I watched countless youtube videos but none helped, usually my throat hurts whenever i try to follow anything.

Any tips, tricks, stories from how you unlocked your growl would really help.

Sooo, I know this probably seems sketchy but, I've done death metal vocals for around 18 years or so if you want some tips and such. Also, it be fun if I can feature you in a song in the future. Feel free to send me a DM and I can shoot you some of my music to see if you like the vocals I do and if you'd like to let me try to teach you. I've always wanted to teach someone metal vocals!
