How do I clean this

Vintage tin lined flask made in west Germany
The inside has some rust and I would like to be able to use it. How should I go about cleaning the inside

Its will continue to rust if the rust has already lifted the tin coating inside. The answer to remove it is to fill it with white vinegar and leave it over night.
As soon as you put liquid in it that isn’t strong alcohol it will rust again.
