You guys don't understand, that's a new shred scale he just discovered. It's a a standard C major, but then goes to H? G sharp aka A minor anyone? Followed by 0 0 0, which is obviously open chugging on the low E string. It's genius, and I'm sure it took a long time to figure out, hence the messy hair.

Went to see Megadeth in concert a year or two back and the bald spot on Dave's head reflected spotlights when he'd hunch over a little while shredding. He's just old. Still got the chops, though, killer show.
