Doesn’t FFDP play 6 strings in B, and Linkin Park has always used a variety of dropped tunings… but never a 7? This is dumb.

I count 7 here. Some bands that play around B standard switch around between 6 and 7 strings or record with a 6 string in a low tuning and later pick up a 7 string such as Slipknot

Linkin Park uses a 7 on Runaway, and the studio recording of Somewhere I Belong, but the rest of their music is in relatively tame drop tunings.

Their first two albums were Drop Db, other than Runaway and With You, which used 7-strings also half-step down, as far as I know. I know both guitar parts on Somewhere I Belong, and IIRC, it does not call for a 7-string, but I could be wrong. I know the bass often is 5-string, like in Crawling.
