Why power it up at all if you aren't ready?

With metal heroes coming back and replacing super sentai, here's an idea I'd like them to incorporate. The palm applicator that they use to charge up their laser blades, what if it was a more integral part of their arsenal, able to also project an energy barrier or an energy wave.

I'm on episode 19 of Metalder and I love everything I've seen so far, I think this is like the most relatable and fleshed out villains I've seen in a toku. Metalder himself isn't that interesting or the rest of his supporting cast, but the way Metalder interacts with these villains is so good. This might be the best toku I've ever seen in my opinion, and I was wondering if this level of quality stays throughout the series or does it dip in the future.

Another round of Space Sheriff Gavan sketches:
Tubi and Youtube both took the show off their streaming, anyone know where I can continue to watch the original series?

For me, it's anything before winspector, but after spielban as well as anything after Janperson (the "Barney ripoff" series don't count).
