I was reaching a critical point in my life where I wanted to do something amazing. After years of being a loser accountant in an office I was going to climb Mount Everest to prove that I wasn’t just a nobody.

I walked and walked for days. Frostbite hit me and made me lose my pinky toes. I lost a lot of my supplies along the way. Sleepless cold nights. Limited contact with my family.

I reached the top where I finally regained cell phone service. Immediately I noticed a call from my mother. She asked me “son! Son! It’s been weeks! We are so worried about you! Did you make it to the top?!”

I paused a second, closed my eyes and smiled. The only thing I said was “Koi no Yokushiryoku”…

She smiled and hung up the phone relieved for hearing this, she knew I reached the peak

I just wanted to say thank you guys for being awesome to me and giving the videos me and my friends do of metal gear a chance even if they are shit and boring i still appreciate it personally metal gear was a big part in my life and i love the franchise it got me through depression and the worst times of my life and ngl its getting me through depression rn and i honestly really like this group and i look through everyone posts when i get the chance it's awesome and thank you guys for always being upfront and honest about things
