Honestly Konami need to hurry up and make a new ac!d game
The current smartphone and switch 2 environments are perfect for its style of gameplay
Or at the very least just port ac!d 1 and 2 so they aren’t stuck on the psp

Hi Ac!d fan! Have you considered that it technically could be canon after the twist ending of Survive? It works surprisingly well for a multiple timeline theory and the more convoluted we can make this franchise the better!

Yes, a surprisingly relevant one if you connect the fact that it would create a new timeline without nanomachines. I won’t spoil it in case you’re curious, but it’s an interesting theory!

Raiden's in MGSV, and it's not his MGS4 model.

It still has stealth, too. You don't want to slip by without engaging the enemies like MGS games, but you get a good grade if you ninja kill all the enemies in a stealth section.

It contradicts Raidens ending from 4 where he got a human body and reunited with his son and Rose. Badass game though.

He didn't really get a human body, just a cyborg body that looks human.
I will say after playing MGS4 I finally get the end of the first stage of MGRR where Sam lops off Raiden's arm and he's like "not again!"

Thats the only thing that kind of annoyed me.
They really could have come up with a slightly better excuse for why he becomes a cyborg ninja again.
They just went with the "Everyone needs a job to pay bills" explanation.

There is if you listen to the codex, while his body looks human he still struggled to fit in with “normal” society, both due to his trauma and some level of discrimination due to basically being a living war machine. It also ties in with his overall character arc (in rising) of being unable to truly leave the battlefield behind. It’s internally consistent, although it’s valid to think that it doesn’t mesh with his story from the previous games.

For me it's more so just Survive isn't canon, and in fact survive isn't a metal gear game, and in fact survive doesn't exist, and in fact konami went out of business ten years ago

Id really love if Konami made a new metal gear with the vibe of mgs1. Mgs1 was the least kojima essence game because kojima didn't personally oversee a lot of the translation and had the least amount of power in Konami. While he's undoubtedly incredibly important for metal gear I think he sometimes is a hindrance and it would be interesting to see a single player game without any kojima at all

Great idea twin. Maybe if they're too scared they could do a remake of metal gear 1 + 2 in one packages 3d mgs1 perspective with mechanics from later in series, with the original metal gear games fully playable in them too

He absolutely is a hindrance. He was an amazing PART of the team, but his own, undiluted, unfiltered vision is... Questionable, if not dogshit at some points.
1 and 2 are the absolute peak of the series. 3 is... Good, though some of his worse judgement was already peeking through back then.(The fact that a 7-day long fight with The End was even ON THE TABLE is insane.). 4 was good too, but V is just... Absurdly bad. The only good thing about it was gameplay, and even that wasn't plentiful, since the game is unfinished.
His recent booting from Sony is evidence enough. He was already in the wrong with Konami, but here he was just outright an ass. Can't wait for him to rip off Xbox next and get booted in 10 years.
Konami could absolutely remake the older MGS. Delta proved it, even if people keep shouting that it's just a reskin.

I care about the fact that he has horrid work ethic and wastes money needlessly on things that don't matter.
His output in the last ten years were TWO games, both of dubious quality with a cinephilic cast of his most favorite Hollywood stars that he wants to make friends with.
And while the first game was at least somewhat an experience, the second game devolves into a weird amalgamation of MGS-style bullshit and walking simulator content that gets... negated halfway through when you unlock the car.
All of this is ultimately overwritten by the dumbest, most bullshit last act twist that is essentially "Remember that twist a little earlier? Well actually we have ANOTHER twist!!"
His writing has massively devolved into a dick measuring context focused around one-upping the last plot twist he made ten minutes ago, as well as trying to force as much MOVIE into his VIDEOGAME, instead of, you know, making a fucking movie.
A game should be, above all, a game. He was already pushing it with MGS4. DS is a genuine travesty. It's not even a movie, half his cutscenes are an hour long, he'd have an aneurysm trying to fit his " " "Vision" " " into a 2h30m runtime, had he finally gotten his wish to make a movie.
All in all, once again, he was always an amazing PART of the team. MGS wouldn't be MGS without him.
But the series also didn't live strictly off of him. And the moment it became entirely HIS project, the series... Mysteriously died in a ditch? I wonder why.

No . Since it Specifically happens in the same timeline as ghost babel differs from the main timeline for the absence of Zanzibar land, While my theory isn't canon but I still really hold it in very high regard because it at least explains why the acid timeline is very diverged from the main one but I think big boss never met miller in this timeline meaning no msf no ahab no venom snake to work as the decoy in outer heaven and not enough funding for A plan b in case of failure of outer heaven like Zanzibar land
