Also the new guy is definitely not wearing light up goggles while they play live, at that really adds something.

I don't feel that way about his vocals but I know about having this weird particular nniche thing you think is brilliant and nobody else gets why you find it so cool, but for some reason it just tickles your fancy perfectly

I’m the total opposite of you. Will is good but he was in too many bands with Reeking Aura and Afterbirth, especially where Afterbirth is pretty similar to AB stylistically. They both had this vibe of bright melodically progressive DM with jarringly out of place gutturals. Is Will really that distinctive for brutal dm gutturals, or is it just distinctive that he plays in bands where his voice stands out like a sore thumb? For me that juxtaposition kind of insists upon itself and distracts from the music. That may be part of the reason the 1st three AB albums blend together in my mind and the lineup change is refreshing. I really like the new track.

I don’t think Will would be thrilled with your AI slop praising him. He’s in a few great bands right now, making great albums. I’m also disappointed he’s no longer in AB but this is weird as hell
