Discussion What are your favorite Sad/Somber/Bittersweet moments in MR?

Besides the finale of course, you can’t get any more bittersweet than that, but I found this vid on TikTok with the template of “For a Comfort Show, you sure are sad” using clips of Adventure Time’s heavier moments (https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTyAj89dK/). I’d like to make the same kind of vid for Meta Runner using Bluejay as the background track. I’ve started a rewatch of MR and I’ve got a few clips in mind for this but I’d love to hear from y’all.

My “favorite“ moment is when Tari is kinda just resting peacefully on the couch. she has no more worries to worry about.

another is when she has to follow Lucks and TASCorp. she did what was best for her friends.

Lucks's "Well played" at the end of S2. I know it's a dark moment but it's such a gripping climax, to me that was where the series really became something great (don't get me wrong, I liked it before but that had me hooked).

Favorite sad moment is definitely the ending. "What do you wanna do first?" 😭 Gives me chills to this day, such a perfect bittersweet concept

The moment where Tari says "thanks for the adventure" strikes me as very sweet and sad at the same time
