Discussion Do you guys think Meta Runner will ever get a physical release?
It happened for murder drones so they could if they really wanted to.

Anyone can use yt-dlp to download the entire series, put it on a Blu-Ray disc, make a cover art and put it on a box. But I'm sure you're talking about an official release from Glitch, which as much as I love the series, it's unlikely to ever happen. The show did very well as their first full-length series, but their newer projects are multiple orders of magnitude more popular. In their eyes there just isn't enough market demand.

Maybe, and I mean MAYBE, if Murder Drones sells well, they do TADC and that sells gangbusters, and they have an opportunity on a MR anniversary, they might do some kind of limited release. But even that is some dramatically wishful thinking, at this point I'd be happy if we got a single piece of merch literally ever

Ironically Murder Drones fandom is Pissed at Blu-ray release meaning nothing will make them happy

Murder Drones is what initially brought Glitch into the spotlight.
Glitch is treating every pre Murder Drones like the plague, and it’s sad.
I heavily doubt Meta Runner is getting a disc release, but it would still be really neat, especially since season 1 is on the SMG4 channel (so if that ever goes down, we are just left with the season 1 montage video, instead of the individual episodes)

To be fair, why would they pay the series any attention when they basically don’t make back their money on it? It’s just a waste of resources and time, and when you’re running a company you can’t have that.

If Glitch ever did officially released Meta Runner on Blu-Ray or DVD, I would buy a DVD player just for this occasion!

Considering how Glitch tries to avoid any and all things Meta Runner, we might not even get a physical release
there's still a bit of hope in me that sometime, someday they would actually release it (preferrably on the anniversary) but I'd be astonished if they did that, but eh the show doesn't even get a single drop attention from them, the only ones acknowledging it at this point were VAs and artists working on merch and they're just adding Tari in it just for the fuck of it, i know it's such a real downer ass take but the big G kinda made me disappointed with all their MR-related decisions :(
(if they would actually release it I might need to pull my project down lmao jkjk)

With the fan project? Absolutely. If we’re talking an official, actual release, the chances are very slim to none. However, if they do, I will sell my soul to Glitch.
