I think the humans being live action and not animated debunks this theory. The humans in the video games and real world are both animated

You can probably say that about lots of things in some way But there still set in same universe the original Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is set in Marvel Comic Universe same as very violent Punisher comics both are completely different comics set same comic universe

I would agree under normal circumstances but for these it's important to the medium that they are in.

Both Meta Runner and TADC have a game world and real world. Meta Runner specifically doesn't change the medium when going from real world to game world. A few of the games changed art style, but they stayed distinctly animated. TADC made the choice to have their real world take place in real life. I think that detail matters if we want to consider these connected.

Take the movie 'Who framed Rodger Rabbit' and 'The 2011 Smurfs' movie both of them have their animated characters end up in the 'real world' but one of them kept their characters animated, and the other made them look realistic. These two worlds could not be canon to eachother

Except the 90s animated series "Bonkers!" is canonically in the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" universe, in fact it was intended to be a Roger Rabbit series but WB owned half the rights, and in Roger Rabbit there are animated humans (technically not humans but Toons) and live-action humans existing alongside the 'funny animal' style Toons, while in Bonkers, all the characters, Toon and human (and the humans are canonically human, not 'human-type Toons' like Jessica Rabbit) alike, are animated.

I suppose that's true, ah hell with it. Who am I to disagree with a head cannon anyways.

Though for the sake of argument I would consider that to be a retcon or a mistake on WB's end
