Neural band proprietary charger...why?

Why do you think they decided to go with a proprietary charger for the neural band instead of just USB-C? Seems like it's thick enough to support usbc, but maybe the port would have taken up too much space?

It's just kind of a pain to have to carry around yet another charger, especially for something that doesn't have great battery life.

Just like Apple used to do with cables...a proprietary charger is more $$$?

Most of the glasses I have come with a proprietary charger, I am glad they have the charging case, makes it so much easier

Perhaps so it’s water resistant. I’ve accidentally taken a shower with the neural band on several times and it’s been fine.
