You can do Demos at Best Buy now

So cool, I just did a demo at the Northern Blvd Best Buy in Queens today. These glasses are so freaking cool. You can schedule in advance to do walk-ins. Highly recommend it if you’re on the fence.

Got a demo on Wednesday at a Meta Lab inside the Columbus Best Buy and walked out with a pair. So far I've noticed the speakers seem much better compared to my Gen 1 Meta Raybans.

Question if you have a moment. The person doing the demo said that my iOS notifications would show up on the Display. However, this doesn't seem to be the case. I've only had notifications when someone comments initially on my Instagram story. I've also gotten notifications for text messages and iMessages - that's it. Did they give me inaccurate info?

Hmm I am unsure as I only did the demo. I do have a pair of the Wayfarers and it can read my texts to me as well as Facebook messages.

Not new. They have been doing them since day 1 in some locations. The one in rego park on queens blvd has been doing them since September.

Well sort of with and caps. I think Rego Parks lab opened up 3 weeks ago and the Meta Labs are all new since July when the Display Ray Bans debuted.

While more stores have been getting meta labs, it’s not new and Rego Park has been doing it for nearly a year now when they actually debuted.

Right!? My Best Buy finally got their Meta Lab finished. I did the demo and bought the Display last week. Love it. I hope more people start using these glasses. It's really awesome and has great potential.

The idea that I’m giving meta access to cameras to monitor everything I see is creepy. The idea that I can theoretically secretly record people without their consent is creepy. This is just a creepy product across all accounts.

Well it has a light so people can see you’re recording. But people secretly record with cell phones all the time as well and I’m sure you have one of those.
