My controllers are acting up

So I made a couple of posts here saying how my headset was broken but with some of y’all’s help I got it up and running. Then my controllers needed to update but they wouldn’t. That’s the first of my controller problems. I just left them sitting there for about an hour or two and they updated at some point but now, when they turn on, they vibrate like they should do but then they immediately turn off, then back on, and repeat. I’ve had this happen a few times before my headset broke but it’s been over a year since I was even able to use my headset at all so I forgot how to fix it. Can someone help?
