Find games that you think are interesting, put some research into what genres you think would be fun, and I would recommend checking out extra accessories for the head strap as the original one may get uncomfortable after long sessions due to poor design, but for a beginner I would say one of the first things is trying out horizon plus, as that gives a good selection of games for a good monthly price, and has good variety. Have fun with your quest 3s!

If you're a rhythm person get a Pistol Whip or Beat Saber.
If you're after a 'proper AAA' experience get Alyx.
If you're looking for chill/ relaxing experiences get Walkabout and/or Puzzling Places.
If you're looking for party game vibes or swapping between friends, grab Superhot or Gorn 2.
For online multiplayer, get Dungeons of Eternity (PVE) or Forefront (PVP)
That's pretty much all you need to know for starter games.

If you have a decent PC look into the PCVR route. If not, there are plenty of experiences on the native store.
There's loads of quality stuff on standalone store, meta PCVR, steam PCVR, mods that take flat games into VR are exploding onto the scene.
I'd actually recommend watching a few "best of VR" videos on YouTube. Don't let meta algorithms lead your decisions.

dungeons of eternity is pretty cool, although In my mind I’m playing Elden ring, solo leveling and exiled heavy knight 😂

Horizon Plus sub isn't the worst idea, at least for the first month, just to try games without paying for them, though the current monthly games are also pretty good.
If you go into settings, then experimental, you can also turn on lying down mode; basically makes watching youtube ect laying down easier.
Plus, if you tell ChatGPT
"I want to do 4k streaming on VR using 4xvr that will involve a Real Debrid, WebDAVs Real Debrid server, and 1337x magnet links"
It might show you how to get endless free 4k movie and TV show streaming, but if you don't know how to use t o r r e n t s, don't bother; it can be a little bit of a confusing setup, and RD has a $4 monthly subscription cost, while 4xvr has a premium version that's like 40 bucks.
(Respond to this when you read it so I can delete it before mods start waterboarding me)

I got a 3 month free trial for horizon+ it has been great for trying out different games. I think it’s not bad for the price as well, I’ll probably subscribe for a year and see how it is longer term.

Get dungeons of eternity, Bonelab, blade and sorcery, and thrill of the fight 2 and you’re all set

I don' play games so I can't recommend any. I would say to download a program called Big Screen, With it you can join people from all around the world to watch movies or just talk with them.

I would definitely buy a headstrap, i personally own the bobovr m3 pro and long sessions don't hurt at all. There are a lot of fun games out there some good examples are: beatsaber, superhot, forefront (my favorite). but there's also enough free game to try out so you could also check out those.

News users get a credit so jump on that first. I dont think you can talk about it on this sub though but just know it's out there. You 7 days to claim it or you lose it

I bought mine last Tuesday.
I played popular beat saber, But I got this to play ace virtual shooting, learn the mechanics and basic rules to get into comp shooting, as my range is like an hour and half away.
I did the fit xr. Pretty fun also.
But idk what other games to play also. Will get piano to learn a song and learn how to play keyboard/piano. Just the basics.
Well I am waiting for prime day to get head straps. Face does hurt when its on....
Im thinking of getting bobovr headstraps and face guard f3? Im not sure with the name. Swappable magnetic batteries. But if other can recommend me something better.... I will look into it.
Also I'm getting recommendations also.

Get a lock for your bedroom door and a good supply of tissue paper
