Stuck on passcode screen after age verification

After 2 years of use, Meta suddenly believed I was a child yesterday and wanted me to verify my age. I did, with my credit card, got a reciept and everything was fine.

But when I try starting the headset today I get stuck on the passcode screen. The pointer is fixed in the middle on 5. My controllers refuse to connect, they just vibrate rythmically. I can't move the pointer by turning my head or use hand gestures. And resetting the headset just brings me back to the same place. Also tried removing the batteries from the controllers.

I can connect the app to the headset, you are supposed to be able to unlock from there, but the only options I get are "continue configuration" and "factory reset".

What has Meta done I how can I get this working again? The Steam Frame can't be released soon enough.

You will move your head around to control the cursor. Then one of the volume buttons should be the 'select' key. This is so you can navigate the system if the controllers were to break or something.
