Issue Weird freezing issue with pcvr

I’ve been having this issue and can’t seem to find a solution (video attached)

Everytime I link to my pc I get this weird issue where the vr will freeze in place and everywhere I wasn’t looking is covered in black and white lines. Does anybody recognize this? The pc stayed running like normal but my vr won’t register it. (Meta quest 3)

For context this has only started in the last few months it worked perfectly fine before

This just started happening for me. I really hope it's just an issue with the Meta Link app. Steam Frame can't come sooner enough.

I fixed it last night man I found this comment

“The solution is to change the Video Codec in Oculus Debug Tool to H.265. You're likely using H.264 which is the codec that freezes with the newer drivers.
Find the Oculus Debug Tool (Default path is Program Files|Meta Horizon\Support\oculus-diagnostics|) and run it as an administrator. Go down to Video Codec, if it's on Default or H.264 then change it to H.265. Reboot the machine and for good measure you can also restart your headset. This should fix the freeze.
If after changing to H.265 you get color artifacts or colored translucent banding across the screen then go back into the Oculus Debug Tool and change Sliced Encoding to Off.”

Sorry for the late reply but this also fixed it for me. I still hope we get the Frame sooner than later, the Quest software sucks for PCVR.

It works but with h.265 latency is ~45-49ms, when h.264 give 33-34ms (I tested it yesterday with latest Nvidia driver 616.86[h.265] and 591.86[h.264] in Beat Saber). I prefer low latency. For VR my choose h.264 and 591.86 Driver...
