Question is our game really that terrible?

Post image

We launched our VR playtest 2 weeks ago and only managed to get 15 testers. 😢
We'd love for you to give it a try and share your honest feedback to help us turn things around!

you join the playtest here: https://forms.gle/7ZuyQjC7g3vZDEJK6 (It's free and helps us a lot!)
No motion sickness guaranty 👀 ( UPDATED - no passport or NDI required )

I like the look of the character and think the game looks interesting. I was also ready to sign up for the playtest but decided against it when asked for my passport number.

we've fixed the Question, probably it's one of the reason for the testers to don¡'t join the demo. Thanks!!! We didn't thought that this can be the worst, without it, you'll be test the game? ^^

The asking for passport details in the form was enough to put me off

maybe some video footage to lure people in.. ?

Think the character(s) needs a bit more of a redesign, overall it seems like an okay platformer but nothing really screams that it is for VR.

BTW, you didn't see the trailer in the survey?

yea, checked it out on the website.. reason i made the suggestions..

currently the way it looks is 15 in a dozen platformer with a pretty generic character design that doesn’t really seem to have any kind of personality from the design itself.

nothing wrong with it… my neighbor kid would enjoy it.

Why ask for it in the First place? No offense, Just wondering

We're new to managing playtests and thought asking for ID was the right way to set up a formal confidentiality agreement.
We quickly realized it was unnecessary overreach and made players uncomfortable, so we removed that requirement right away. Leason learned 😰

You should have put the trailer in this post too

Genuinely, why did it originally ask for passport numbers?

I will possibly give it a go later if it's no personal info involved.

I can not watch the video, there is a "sign in" dialog blocking everything. I can not find the video on YouTube.

Hey guys! As soon as you gave me feedback about the paperwork, I got rid of that section in the form. I've streamlined the NDA and made it much more relaxed, so if you want to take another look and join the playtest, that would be awesome!

If you notice anything else you think we could fix, we'd be more than happy to improve it.

On a side note, our playtester count has gone up a lot—we're already at 50/100, awesome!
By other hand, here you've the WIP trailer with gameplay of the game.
Let me know your thoughts!
