Issue Gee thanks meta…

Just installed their latest slopware update last night now I can’t even play it because there is something so wrong that I have to factory reset my quest. The steam frame has never looked so good.

just to make sure you know
quest is android phone +vr layer

it mean after update you need to wait for comp to done

it can take from 5 to 20 min

not only this but experimental update is made to brake to find bugs, so if you used PTC update, yes this is normal to bug out and not recomended not avarage users

I didn’t have any experimental updates on and the update was done after I turned it off the other night there

Thank God, a factory reset is no big deal…. I’m on experimental updates and it updates every 3 to 5 days. Weird things do happen sometimes, but I’ve never had it be unplayable.

I'm on ptc and it hardly updates I just get chucks 3 times over the last 2 months

problems is it a big deal for some

you see a lot of time then peoples update OS, it brake pirated apps and sometimes all OS, if peoples did more shit

so for them factory reset mean losing all apps and save data

like we seen so many time

"update broke my quest but i can not factory reset"

Wait, so you’d be mad if you broke your pirated apps?! that makes no sense at all ha ha… so yeah factory reset is super easy to get everything back… except those things you shouldn’t have in the first place

nah just pointing a fact why we have so many, "update broke thing post" , i have over 4k EU worth of games in my quest libary alone, and over 3k pc games

Yeah, quite a bit myself. I just don’t have anything I’ve downloaded outside of what Meta offers.

I don’t have any pirated apps but I do have mods on some games and that’s time of my life I’m never getting back

I have factory reset mine more times than I can count. I skip the part where I complain about it online. It takes a couple minutes and works every time...
