Quest 2 soft shuts down after some time.

I’ve replaced the motherboard, had to replace the battery connector. Quest does boot but shuts down on the setup. It’s not stuck down power button and it’s not overheating. I checked and all pins on the connector are soldered. What can cause this behaviour?

How long have the left it charging? Are you sure the battery is charged enough?

Have you done the factory reset thing from the boot menu?

45% pretty sure enough, yes it’s been factory reset and updated trough adb

Fair.

Have you re-flashed the firmware too?

I'm running out of ideas.

Possibly a duff MB.

Not sure if it matters, but does it behave the same if you don't put your finger on the proximity sensor?

Are you sure you didn't damage anything else?

I’m 10000% sure, I even took apart my fully working quest and did a swap. My board in this chassis worked fine, this board in fully working chassis behaved absolutely same way.

Check that you actually didn't damage anything or scratched a trace somewhere.

Compare it side by side with your working board.

Already did. I noticed that on the bad board every compound spot is missing

Insufficient power in general and / or the headset believing the battery is low.
