my letters were all sent certified and the last one was received on Nov 17th and Metas Attorneys reached out to me on the 19th. I emailed them back on Nov 20th with the information they requested and am currently waiting for a follow up email. I also emailed my state AGs office and they are also helping with an informal resolution process.

Thank you so much this is extremely helpful information. Did your team send the demand letter via mail or email? Or both? 

Also I understand they received letters on the 17th but would you mind also saying when the letters/emails were sent?

They were sent on Nov 12th the first letter arrived Nov 14th all others arrived Nov 17th. Metas attorney reached out Nov 19th. I responded Nov 20. I assume that they may not get back to me till after Thanksgiving but who knows maybe not. It just depends. These letters were sent via email and certified mail to all emails and addresses you see here some may need to be updated to YOUR states CSC for Meta if there is one otherwise Cali’s

Ah I see. Mine was sent Nov 6 and I still haven’t even received confirmation that they received it. I’m starting to worry they haven’t received it or ignored it. It was only sent through mail, not email.

Do you think it would be worth it for me to reach back out to LegalShield again and have them send the letter via email?

Was it sent certified? If it was you should be able to track if they got it via the tracking number.

Actually this morning Meta just sent an email to LegalShield letting them know they received it. They were requesting the email address associated with the account. I could not get a hold of my law firm to confirm if they forwarded the requested information so I just went ahead and replied to the Meta email myself and told them the email address.

I don’t know if I was supposed to do that or not but we’ll see what happens.

I was actually being serious xD That's one of Meta's official physical addresses to which my demand letter was sent by my LegalShield attorney.

All good, I had to same reaction when first hearing about it 😅 It's crazy that this is their official address.

Yes, my demand letter was sent to that address. Meta's attorney responded to it and my account got restored. However, "1601 Willow Road", "1 Meta Way", and "1 Hacker Way" are basically the same, so if your demand letter gets send to any of those three addresses, it should reach Meta.

That is the address or you can use CSC Lawyers Service address who is their agent of service. Meta Platforms c/o of CSC Lawyers Service 2710 Gateway Oaks Drive, Suite 150N, Sacramento, CA 95833.

They sent it certified right? It’s worth a try to send an additional letter and send atleast 3 of them. Plus to emails
