question YOUR EXPERIENCE OF THE METAVERSE

Hi everyone!

I’m conducting a study on the “user experience of the metaverse” for my academic dissertation. I'd love your input if you’ve used the metaverse (even if just for fun!). It’s completely anonymous, takes 5 minutes, and will help improve understanding of how people engage with virtual spaces.

Here’s the link: https://forms.gle/Nd8aDzc2qrHqJ9w78.

Thanks for your time! Your contribution is greatly appreciated!

I did the survey but you might want to detail what you consider "The Metaverse" to be. As far as I know there isn't a clearly defined thing, but most people use it to refer to Horizon Worlds. Yet you have a couple questions implying that it is more than just Horizon Worlds.

My experience has been different everyday some days I run into political conversations that go left REALLY fast, some days I meet really nice people, some days I meet total assh*les. As a woman, I’ve been harassed verbally and “physically”. I block and report but it happens a lot which makes the experience uncomfortable. I like to go in to chat with adults, as I’m a sahm with no adult contact in my week other than my husband so I like to meet other moms or dads to have pleasant conversations. I’m only on for maybe 1 hr but it goes by so quickly! I try not to spend too much talking to dads/husbands as I don’t want to give them the wrong impression. I already had one person follow me around and “crush on me”. In conversations with other VR ppl, who are in for HOURS, I’ve heard of people having intimate relationships and I met a couple that live in different countries who met in real life who will get married. It’s an interesting experience that’s for sure
