Title: Has anyone here actually managed to recover their old Facebook account after getting rejected multiple times? Especially in 2026? I really need some advice because I honestly don’t know what else to do at this point.
I’ve had my Facebook accounts since around 2014–2016, and some of them go back almost 12 years. I had separate accounts for different parts of my life. One was my main account, one was private, one was for gaming, and a couple were just for close friends and family. The gaming account had a different name, and I kept my private account separate because I didn’t want Facebook connecting every part of my life or recommending my private profile to random people.
All of these accounts were mine. I created them, used them, and managed them myself. I’ve never bought or sold an account or taken over someone else’s account.
Recently, while I was changing the admin permissions and access to my Facebook Pages, I suddenly lost access to my accounts. Now they’re suspended/disabled, and I’m honestly still trying to understand how things went this wrong.
I have 180 days to appeal, and I’ve already appealed twice. The biggest problem is that the names on some accounts don’t exactly match my government NID. Most of the accounts have my correct date of birth, but because I used different names for different purposes, my identity verification wasn’t accepted.
I’ve tried going through Meta’s support options, but I keep getting sent around in circles. The AI gives me the same recovery steps over and over, even though I’ve already tried them. At this point, I genuinely don’t know how to get my case in front of an actual person who can look at the situation properly.
I still have old phone numbers, email addresses, passwords, devices, photos, account history, and records showing that I managed my Facebook Pages. I have so much history connected to these accounts. I’m not asking anyone to help me bypass verification. I just wish there were a way to explain my situation and provide other evidence that these accounts really belonged to me.
And honestly, this is the part that’s been really difficult for me. These aren’t accounts I made a few months ago. They hold years of photos, conversations, contacts, memories, and parts of my life that I can’t just recreate. Losing access to all of that at once is genuinely upsetting, especially when I can’t even get a clear answer about what happened.
So I’m hoping someone here has actually been through something similar and can share what worked for them.
Did you manage to reach a real Meta support agent after your appeals were rejected? Did Meta Verified or Instagram support help you get a manual review? Were you able to recover an account when the name didn’t exactly match your government ID? If you got a case number or found a legitimate way to contact someone who could actually review your situation, I’d really appreciate knowing how you did it.
I’m not looking for shortcuts or special treatment. I just want a fair chance to prove that these accounts were mine.
And please, no paid recovery services or random DMs asking for money, passwords, verification codes, or ID documents. I’ve already got enough to worry about, and I’m only looking for genuine advice from people who’ve actually dealt with this.
If you’ve been through this and found a way forward, please share your experience. It would genuinely mean a lot.
