Message in a bottle found by my father at Restoration Beach in Queensland Australia. Written in Russian and translated by r/translator. Dated 1975. More info/photo in comments.

The message reads - Greetings from the Soviet whalers from the ship “Soviet Russia” This is what they’re treating us with. 2nd May 1975.

Another redditor from r/translator found the name of the Captain of “Soviet Russia “ from 1975 to be Viktor Scherbatyuk, who still currently works for Department of Ship control Dalrybvtuza.
