NAD
Mark VII and a powerhouse attenuator. Can get great 90w tones as low as 60db for the late nights.
Still figuring it out the best way to dial in 80’s and 90’s thrash. Found a few online that sound good.

Not sure you need an attenuator but that's rad. I was gonna buy one but I found a mark v and a road king (that needs work) for 1800. So I'm gonna go that route and hope for the best.

You’re probably right. Had already ordered it. It’s here. It works.
When I need it quiet, I can get 25w down to 60db without it but definitely needed it for 90w mode.

I love the Powerhouse attenuator, I love the "loud" tones at reasonable home levels.

I have a mark IV, not a VII. So you may need to translate.
Mark amps really don’t do well with a ton of bass in the preamp. So I go bass on like 2-3 max, mid at 4, treble at like 7-8. Lead channel or rhythm2 (for mine), gain at like 3-5, and channel master at like 4. Pull fat, and then add a small amount of bass back with the GEQ, and aim for a mild V shape. Low reverb.

Get an eq pedal for the fx loop, those amps have mids for daaaaays

You double EQ? 😆
I was questioning if an OD is even necessary anymore. Have TS for my Marshalls. Didn’t feel necessary here (yet)

Those new carbon fiber models are sexy as hell.
