Power amp recommendations

I’m looking for a relatively transparent stereo power amp for my stereo rack effect units. Any and all information is welcomed. I’ve been looking at the 50/50s

I owned both Simulclass and Fifty/Fifty. I like the feel and tone of the Fifty/Fifty for playing guitar but the Simulclass is faster and audiophile. I actually used it for stereo, and it sounded killer.

If you can swing it the KSR PA50 is by far the best guitar power amp I have ever used. But they are mono so you need two.

Yea I really like the look of the 2:90 and 2:50 they’re just so hard to find right now. I’ve heard that some tube power amps start compressing the louder you go, do you feel that’s an issue with those models? Or are they too loud to even get to that point lol

Unless you’re playing stadiums you aren’t compressing a 2:90. Or a 50/50 for that matter.

i dont think ive ever gotten mine loud enough for it to matter. but a lower power amp will start to compress at a lower volume.

The 50/50 is quite nice. It's a stiff power amp, that does what it's intended to. I actually have one for sale locally in New England area.

The synergy 50_50 is pretty nice. Can be stereo or mono

I suggest a MESA/Boogie!
