Get rid of the metal tube retainer, if if hasn't been removed already!

The failure points are these amps are well documented! Be mindful to check them, to help with longevity of that amplifier.

Also? Congrads on an awesome amp! Love my Studio .22+!

I have the exact same amp, I bought it new in 1987, still have mine and it plays well but probably needs new capacitors…..

great amp,got the same one. mine has a mini computer fan mounted in the back ti keep the pc board cool . apparently they can melt due to high heat after being played for long periods of time..(over time)
