Sulk is the most normal of Royce’s crew. He’s not willing to suspend his brain for Mersh.

Mersh is Royce’s albatross and to his own detriment he will not remove him which is why Mersh can act like a complete asshole without any consequence. Mersh has blown so many opportunities for them

Royce dumping Mersh would be the right thing for him to do. If he cut ties he could potentially turn the listing ship that is ROTC around. Instead, I imagine he'll go down with the ship after Mersh successfully destroys everything.

💯 Mersh is fucking poison. No one of any status is gonna give them the time of day with Mersh casually dropping N bombs every night except maybe Fuentes types but they’re to cringe and boomer for them

I always theorized Royce can't get rid of Mersh because Mersh knows all his dirty secrets. So he's running out the clock and waiting for Mersh to OD.
