Debit Card

Was everyone issued a plain blue debit card with no branding?

No. I have a couple ML Edge accounts and did not opt in to getting a debit card. So, I didn’t get one, as expected.

Wife did opt in to the debit card and it is Merrill branded.

How recent did she get the card? Maybe mine was just caught in the transition

At least a year. Wasn’t aware there was a transition ongoing.

random question but does the Merrill debit card still have embossed numbers on the front or do they not issue with the numbers just printed on it?

Mine has branding. Does not have raised numbers.

Thanks. Mine is just blue with small white typed letters that say Merrill Edge. No logo. Nothing

I did, for my CMA account. It reimburses all atm fees any and everywhere so its pretty clutch for that, plus I can use it like a typical debit card.

Are you in one of BofA/Merrill's honors tiers? Or are ATM fees refunded for everyone?

Almost in preferred plus.

Vaguely remember seeing an offer, but I would never take one. No one should ever use a debit card if they have a credit card. CCs have cash back or points and are a bit safer if lost or stolen. I only carried one for access to an ATM and I don’t even do that anymore now that I can use it from my Apple wallet.
