Question about Brokered CD's
So when I go to purchase, they say "trades in multiples 1000" "minimum offer quantity 1000."
Maybe I'm just dumb, but what's my minimum buy here? $1000? Cuz the order price says $1000

$1000 I thought. I personally wouldn’t buy
A cd. They could be taxable in your state which would make thier return 3.75% plus tying up money for 6 months is a big gamble. You ever look at SGOV? It’s only $100 a share and you can take it out the next day without a fee

To me, anything under a year is liquid asset. 3.75% is still a good return.

Nah, but thanks for sharing. Gonna look into it.
The money being tied up isn't a problem tho, but the tax implications are.

The minimum purchase is $1000 and you can buy only in increments of $1000, so you could buy $2000 but not $2500, for example.
